CORPORATE WORKSPACE 07
ALPHA FORCE
An immersive, branded on-campus experience for off-campus teams.
OVERVIEW
Nike was growing rapidly from 11,000 to 18,000 employees at WHQ and needed space to house the critical HR function under one roof.
Alpha Force and its sister building, Driving Force, were tenant improvement projects located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Given the off-campus location, the brand team was tasked with creating a space that would immerse both guests and employees in the brand as soon as they entered the buildings.
The hub and collaboration spaces were wrapped in bold graphics (ads, athletes, taglines) and stories of the 90s "Force" era of Nike Basketball combined with contemporary Nike Basketball.
In a lounge space, we featured Charles Barkley from the iconic and controversial "I am not a role model" ad. This included iconic ads, taglines, and athletes from that time, most notably Charles Barkley, known for his strength and power as a forward playing for the Phoenix Suns.
Overall, the project was a success by helping to foster a sense of pride and connection to the Nike culture for employees.
